Animal Defenders International campaigns to protect animals and the environment. Our mission is to educate, create awareness, and promote the interest of humanity and the suppression of cruelty to animals worldwide. ADI is a major international force in animal protection. We lobby governments at both national and international levels on animal welfare issues and have halved the number of animal circuses in the UK in the past 5 years. We have secured new rules for the cross border movements of animal circuses in over 160 countries. We have secured convictions of animal abusers and wherever possible, we rescue and relocate animals in distress to our ADI Rescue Centre. We rely entirely on public donations.
